Group or private lessons, experienced teachers and mix of learning
Kronenburgh distinguishes itself further by the focus on:
- Cambridge Business English: training for business;
- Admission criteria for academic courses (IELTS / Cambridge First); and
- Dutch for Expats.
Private and group lessons
If you want to start quickly to work on your language skills and do not want to wait until a new group starts? Then you can sign up for a private course.
We provide this training in The Hague, but another location is also negotiable.
We invite you to take the Cambridge test. We then know at what level we must provide our education. Send a print screen of the achieved level by e-mail. Together with your language teacher you discuss your learning objectives and then work together on your customized program.
Do you want to register for private training? Send an e-mail to info@lc-kronenburgh.nl. You can also contact us by telephone: ++ 3170-3998806. You can sign up here.
The advantage of the group sessions is of course the mutual educational interaction. Students also encourage each other to achieve learning achievements. It’s just more learning fun.
We have planned group meetings during the academic year. Take a look at our program page (horizontal navigation at the top). Select your course and view our schedule. You can signup here.
Experienced language teachers
Kronenburgh Language College works with experienced language teachers. Thanks to that experience, these teachers quickly see where the challenges lie for each individual student and what is already going well.
Also for IELTS and Cambridge First, our teachers know exactly how to best prepare students for these exams.
In addition to being a language teacher, our ‘Dutch for Expats’ teachers are also proud of Dutch culture and are happy to take the students along in their customs and traditions while learning Dutch.
Mix of learning
Kronenburgh Language College uses, among other things, the books of the Cambridge University Press. But of course much more teaching material is provided. Digital exercise material to also work independently. This makes it possible to respond effectively to the individual learning objectives of each student.
During the lectures we always work systematically on the different language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking (monologue and dialogue).
Learning to actively use the language is what we emphasize at Kronenburgh Language College.
By using a mix of learning, every student can achieve great development in language proficiency.
CEFR indication certificate
Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is an international standard for describing the level of language proficiency.
Students always receive a certificate with an indicative language proficiency level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). We also do this when a student does not take a Cambridge English or Dutch exam. The CEFR indication is based on the student work during the course.
